Care Facilities

Situated in our own private grounds Simpson’s Hospital is located very close to Dundrum Village and Town Centre. The hospital is comprised of two linked buildings, a listed Georgian residence and a modern purpose-built bedroom wing.

A glazed seating area looking out over the garden links the bedroom wing to the original building. The tranquil hospital grounds have been extensively landscaped and are fully wheelchair accessible.

The residents’ dining room, day room and visitors rooms are located in the original Georgian building. Our kitchen team are committed to promoting a healthy and nutritious diet with choice and variety for our residents in a calm and unhurried environment.

Meals are served in the dining room with an option for a tray service in a resident’s room.

Simpson’s has 32 single and 8 shared en-suite bedrooms. The bedrooms have under-floor heating, full-length windows, built in wardrobes and electric profiling beds. All our en-suites are wheelchair accessible and have assisted showers.

Our ethos involves focuses on ‘Personal Wellbeing’, delivering appropriate care through a person-centred approach that recognises the dignity, value and uniqueness of each resident.

We continue to introduce new services for our residents that promote an ‘enabling’ approach to care, often ones that have come about from residents themselves.

A full list of services available for our residents is available in the Resident’s Guide
